New Faculty Mentoring

The University Institute for Teaching and Learning is dedicated to integrating and enhancing ongoing efforts at teaching and learning at Ohio State, as well as elevate the visibility and importance of such work. Four pillars support the Institute (Instructional Support, Inquiry and Scholarship, Policy Development, and Communication).

The inaugural offering of the Instructional Support pillar is the Faculty FIT Program. This program offers a set of coordinated learning experiences for new/developing teachers and their mentors. Yearlong programs focus on professional development for instructional faculty at differing levels of experience, and particularly strive to engage faculty new to The Ohio State University.
