About Me

Greetings to all;

My name is Alexander Uhrich and I am a freshman at The Ohio State University. I will be attempting to major in chemical engineering in my undergraduate career, and I am a proud member of the Green Engineering Scholars program at the university. I am from Richfield, Ohio, which is about halfway between the cities of Akron and Cleveland, for those of whom have never heard of it. I truly began to enjoy chemistry my junior year during my AP chemistry course, for which I had an impeccable professor who supported and encouraged my blossoming love for the subject. Throughout that course and my AP calculus course that was to soon follow, I set my mind on chemical engineering as a profession. Today, I wish to attain, at the minimum, a B.S. in chemical engineering; along with that, I hope to attain my master’s degree in chemical engineering in pursuit of a career on the management side of the field. On the side, I love to read books, with catch-22 being my all-time favourite, do sudoku and crossword puzzles, and spend quality time with the people close to me. I enjoy making new friends and cannot wait for the next chapter of my life to unfold at THE Ohio State University.
