Denman Undergraduate Research Forum

The Denman Undergraduate Research Forum is an annual event at OSU that is coordinated by the Undergraduate Research Office and supported by the Office of Research, the Office of
Undergraduate Education, Mr. and Mrs. Denman, and other corporate and private donors. The Forum is an opportunity to showcase outstanding student research, scholarship, and creative
activity and encourage all undergraduates to participate in these activities to enrich their undergraduate education.  Abstract submissions are due at the beginning of December and the event is held in February.  Details may vary year to year.  Consult with the Honors Director for clarification of the application process.

Undergraduate Research Festivals

Ohio State offers two additional opportunities to present research at the Undergraduate Research Festivals, held in autumn and spring. These are opportunities to disseminate research findings in either oral or poster presentation formats. Abstract submissions are due at the beginning of the fall term for Fall Festival and at the beginning for spring term for Spring Festival. Consult the Honors Director for clarification of the application process.

Presentation at any of these local events may qualify as a thesis oral defense as approved by the student’s thesis advisor.
