I recently attended the denman forum here at The Ohio State University a while ago. Because of my schedule I was only able to attend the spring expo which was from 9-11 and in that short amount of time I was at the Denman forum I was able to walk around and look at many unique and interesting projects. It was amazing to see people my age who have been working long and hard on projects like these. One person I interviewed said her project was something she has been working on for 3 years.
Advice I would give to students who want to compete in the future is that you can’t just do one of these projects last minute. These projects takes months and even years to collect all the data and have it perfected to be up to par with the rest of the contestants. Take this competition very seriously who knows you might be able to win it someday.
