During the energy analysis portion of the lab we learned how to use the mass and performance analysis to find the different forces associated with the AEV. The data gathered in lab showed us that there is a very small error with the accuracy of the sensors. This error is less than 1% and could be ignored for the most part. We also found that at 30% motor speed on a flat track, our AEV has a frictional force of 2.1 gmf and the propellers have a force of 7.6 gmf. This will help us in the future as we will be able to more accurately able to calculate the motor speed and time needed to run the AEV at different inclines, allowing us to maximize the power efficiency of the AEV.
