This Artifact is a presentation my group and I prepared of the United Nation’s Millennium Goal of Partnering for Development. We focused mainly on Europe, and more specifically, the current refugee crisis that Europe is currently experiencing. We talked about what is causes some of these issue and what the UN and the countries’ governments are trying to do to solve the issue. I learned a lot from researching this topic. I began to realize and truly understand what exactly it is that is causing so much tension between refugees and the citizens of the countries experiencing the movement of people. Also, I learned about the conflict Islam and the clashing of cultures that is occurring in countries such as France. This artifact has broaden my understanding of international affairs in that I know see why the refugee is such a complex issue for not only Europe but also the entire world. This movement has an enormous impact on human history and learning about this topic has helped me understanding exactly why.
