G.O.A.L.S Statement-Survey

Global Awareness:

-I want to work on taking classes that provide a global perspective and plan on doing a study abroad. I think it’s critical to understand what’s happening in the world, and to learn about other cultures.

Original Inquiry:

-I am interested in Native American history and affairs and I would like to explore this with research whether it be on my own or with a professor. I am also interested in political science, and I like to listen to podcasts to learn about developing news and politics.

Academic Enrichment:

-I will take classes that expand my understanding of various topics and coincide with my intended majors (English & International Studies). I also want to take classes for personal interest, and take challenging courses for my major.

Leadership Development:

-I want to continue to explore the clubs and organizations on campus, and find the right ones for me. I want these clubs to relate to my academic and personal areas of interest. I think I am a strong leader, and I hope there will be leadership opportunities for me.

Service Engagement:

-Community service is a very important topic to me especially because I’m from Columbus. I want to extend my community service to environmental changes and the homeless population.
