This initiative helps to provide a bridge for building relationships between science and technology through medical physics with the community through local science teachers and students. We aspire to inspire a greater understanding of how physics can come to life for students and teachers through the application of physics in medicine. We believe this program will have a positive impact on our community through this multi-disciplinary collaboration. We believe the medical physicists and education researchers can become more sensitive to the impacts of science and technology by collaboration with teachers and students. Science teachers are leaders in our community and this program promotes and supports teachers in gaining additional understanding of the applications of physics and medicine and providing the resources to empower their students to better understand science and technology.

This program is supported by Battelle Engineering, Technology and Human Affairs Endowment.
