2. Participate in your orientation program.

This is the online session hosted by First Year Experience (FYE) and includes important information about the University, Student Life, and Transportation Services.

Online orientation is made up of two “live” components. First, the opening Zoom session with FYE. Second, your academic advising session through your college.

Read the instructions below for joining and to obtain the meeting IDs for the orientation sessions required of all student participants. We encourage you to take a screen capture or photo of this page so you can access it quickly on the first day of your orientation program.

This appointment will take place at any time the week of your overview orientation session. (The availability of meeting with an academic advisor changes by college/major). You should also use this meeting to discuss earned transfer credit and your timeline to complete your degree at Ohio State.
    3. Complete the orientation program evaluation.
