Orientation for transfer students at Ohio State is online, with session offerings beginning in April.
To begin your Ohio State journey and prepare for orientation, please carefully review the information on the orientation website. In doing so, you will note that you need to activate your Ohio State username and email account to receive most university communications and register for orientation.
When you pay your acceptance fee, you will be able to register for an orientation date. Orientation is a two-part component.
Whether you are already familiar with Columbus or Ohio State, or are a new student learning about Ohio State systems for the first time, we encourage you to work through all 5 tasks under this tab as online orientation to the university. You can work at your own pace, but you should try to complete these tasks prior to your scheduled orientation date.
Remember, any outstanding tasks you do not complete may impact your course scheduling, disbursement of financial aid, and start of the semester.
