Meet Kyle-New Student Administrative Assistant

Hi everyone,

My name is Kyle Fox and I recently joined the TOPS staff as a student assistant. I volunteered as a tutor at the TOPS academic center last semester, and absolutely loved getting to work with multiple of the awesome students enrolled in the TOPS program. The students I worked with taught me a lot more than I taught them. I am a fourth year student studying environmental science at the Ohio State University. I plan on graduating with my B.S. in May 2021, and hopefully working for the Ohio EPA post-graduation. I have also considered going into the medical field at some point in the future so we will see what the future holds!

I grew up in Dayton, Ohio, and have always loved OSU. A fun fact about me is that I am a triplet and both of my siblings go to Ohio State as well. My sister Olivia will be going to Speech Pathology grad school next fall, and my brother Evan will be going to grad school for Occupational Therapy. I enjoy hiking, playing basketball, working out, and reading in my free time.

I am excited to have the opportunity to work for TOPS and continue to interact with such amazing students and staff. This is such an amazing program and I look forward to continuing to get to know you all!

That’s me on the right

Register NOW for the Developmental Disabilities Awareness and Advocacy Day!

This is a great opportunity to share the successes of students with ID attending college.  The event will be hosted on March 2, 2021 at 10 am. Due to the on-going COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s event will be hosted all online.

We look forward to “coming together through the distance” for a special hour-long presentation from leaders and self-advocates and meetings with state legislators.

The presentation and legislative meetings will be streamed through Zoom. Legislative appointments will be held during the afternoon and based on legislator availability.
