TOMS is a company that uses a “One-for-One” business model to  provide shoes, eyewear, water, and safe birth kits to 70+  countries around the world including Haiti, Malawi, and  Guatemala.

  Blake Mycoskie is the man behind the idea of “One for One” and  after his 2006 trip to Argentina, and witnessing so many children  in need, he decided to create a business that would be able to  make profits and use those profits to change lives. Initially  starting in Nepal, Cambodia, and Tibet, the company has grown  to serve over 70 countries. Rather than a group of people providing shoes that may not be quality, the Giving Partners in the countries in need place orders for the shoes in the correct sizes, and based on environmental needs.
