In order to grow and learn, experimentation must take place and this class has been a great source and outlet for creativity. 3D art is fairly new to me and I was really excited to begin working with the material but also slightly nervous because of the majority online format. Even though most of the brainstorming and work was done independently, I still felt support from my instructor and felt successful with my work. I think working with strange materials and pushing boundaries of space has been very fun and has altered the way my brain perceives and processes art. Assessing the difference between exercise 1 to the latest project has been a little difficult because every assignment asks the artist to work in a different way but the progression and growth is still clear, no matter how it is evaluated. I believe the majority of my progress is shown in my creative thinking. The ambiguity of the projects pushes the artist to see topics, problems and ideas in a different light which is really where I thrive. I believe each project shows my take on art but also shows the personal connections that i have been able to expand on.
