My name is Taylor Nesbit, and I am currently a third year Food, Agricultural and Biological Engineering student, with a concentration in Ecological Engineering at The Ohio State University. I have had a passion for the environment for a long time now, and wanting to be able to help solve environmental problems on some scale is what led me to major in Ecological Engineering. Through my undergraduate coursework I have been able to develop my problem solving skills and learn new programs such as AutoCAD, MATLAB, and SIMULINK. I have also worked in group projects for a majority of classes, which has helped me improve my team work and communication skills. Upon graduating I would like to go to graduate school to focus more in marine systems, and eventually gain a job working for a marine/coastal engineering company. With my classes I have developed the educational qualifications for this kind of career, and my experiences have prepared me to excel once I get there.
