APA Style Guide, 7th Edition
The 7th edition of the APA style guide (Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association) was published on October 1, 2019. Here are just a few of the changes:
- one space after a period is officially the preference now
- in-text citations and the reference list will be formatted differently with regard to number of authors
- book publisher location is no longer needed in reference list
- Times New Roman 12-point font is no longer king
- heading formats are updated
- the singular “they” is endorsed
