About Me

All though born in Ohio, my parents moved us down to Mooresville, North Carolina where I grew up. Before starting high school, I attended an International Baccalaureate School for two years. This school was brand new so I felt my academic future would be best spent at an established public high school. For the next four years I would attend Lake Norman High School, where I would run cross-country, Play Varsity Lacrosse for a state championship team, and march in the marching band. I challenged myself with AP courses and extra-curricular clubs like Odyssey of the mind (world finalist), student government, and National Honors Society. During high school, I had the opportunity to work as a paid intern at Old World Molding Company located in Mooresville, NC. Through this internship I became a self-taught CNC router operator and worked extensively with other machines and the many processes of woodworking. Throughout my learning experiences, I have been exposed to a variety of teaching/learning styles. While I excel with hands-on, interactive, and logical learning; I am extremely adaptable and comprehend information to the same level during a lecture or visual lesson. I have always wanted to be a buckeye, it was a biggest dream growing up since elementary school. While studying engineering, I can’t wait to see where this great school will lead me.
