The Mission:
Performance Test 1 is the first of three rounds of tests. The goal of this round of tests was to check if our AEV could make it to the gate and trigger the sensor. We had to make it to the sensor, trigger the sensor, but not crash into anything.
Obstacles:
The company was able to create the code easily to complete Performance Test 1 with no issues. Trial and error worked well to make the AEV arrive at the exact location needed in this series of tests.
Results:
The AEV was able to successfully stop at the gate, wait 7 seconds, then continue after that when necessary (all three runs went well).
