We chose to go forward with John Carbone II’s idea and tweak it based on the input from other group members. This picture shows a sketch of his modified design without the casing that we plan to add on later. The idea behind this initial design is to compact the AEV and make it as light as possible with the goal of only having to use one motor going back and forth on the rail. If successful, this would virtually cut the power usage in half.
