Raffle and Silent Auction

This year’s grand prize includes a tour of The Ohio Stadium and lunch for ten.

Tickets can be purchased with cash only for $5 per ticket or $20 for five tickets.

Our silent auction has many great items from local partners, multiple destination locations, Big Dish plates signed by dignitaries – including Coach Urban Meyer – and more! Silent Auction is cash or credit card.

We can’t wait to see you there!

The Big Dish

The Big Dish is an annual networking and fundraising event hosted by the Hospitality Management program within the College of Education and Human Ecology at The Ohio State University.

What does this event entail?

The Big Dish starts out with a networking reception where you can indulge in hors d’oeuvres and enjoy refreshing cocktails. Make sure you buy a lot of raffle tickets and bid on our silent auction items! Next, we will have a program, with a plated dinner, to express our gratitude and display our program’s accomplishments. At the end of the night, we will continue to celebrate with dessert and champagne!

How do I get involved?

Students are welcomed to volunteer and industry leaders are invited to donate to our amazing program. For more information, please explore our website or contact Anne Turpin at

Who attends The Big Dish?

We are proud to enjoy the company of our current Hospitality Management students, recent Hospitality Management alumni and the “Who’s Who” in the hospitality industry.
