About

I am a graduate student in the Department of Plant Pathology at The Ohio State University.  I am working in Dr. Sally Miller‘s vegetable pathology laboratory.  My research focuses on investigating ways to improve soil health and tomato disease management in the Morogoro Region of Tanzania.  This research is supported by an iAGRI (Innovative Agricultural Research Initiative) collaborative research grant and a U.S. Borlaug Fellows in Global Food Security graduate student research grant.

My research interests include international agriculture, sustainable plant disease management, biological control, and microbial ecology.  I previously worked in Bolivia and Ecuador studying microbial interactions with quinoa.

  1. I’ve really enjoyed your shared journey in Tanzania! Your photos and comments are great! I’m not even sure if the dates, but it seems to have been a wonderful experience and adventure.
