1.  In our group paper, Mobile Learning in Adult Educationwe address Bloom’s Analyzing level by comparing and outlining ways in which mobile learning is effective and not as effective for the business world.

Samples of comparing and outlining pros verses cons of mobile learning.
Pros of Mobile Learning
Mobile learning can be used anywhere any time.
People are comfortable and familiar with mobile devices.
It is more motivating for learners to use mobile devices.
Gamification can be used for younger adult learners to reinforce concepts.
Mobile learning is transformational for a professional setting.
Employees are already immersed in a mobile workplace/ workflow
Mobile devices leverage company speed for productivity.
Cons of Mobile Learning
Hourly people are not as likely to have time to use the mobile learning programs outside of production without feeling overworked.
When would the learner be expected to use the training program?
Not everyone has a well-functioning mobile device.
Even Though one has state-of-the-art mobile device, the easiness of accessing to the internet/intranet should not be assumed.
Is programming mobile learning easy or expensive?
Security problems exist anytime on any platforms.
The is a huge diversity of age/education experience.

 

2.  In the student led lesson, Lin and I gave opportunities for students to compare video use for different purposes and different settings.Screen Shot 2015-07-27 at 4.58.27 PM

 

 

 

 

3.  In the micro teaching lesson, Youmna and I had a brief discussion on the difference between quest learning and ARIS as a quest mobile app.  The students had the opportunity to outline ideas on using the app in various settings.
