2016 Langfest Certification // DEALL
My Minor in Mandarin Chinese neared completion with a performance in the 2016 LangFest at The Ohio State University. My classmates and I performed the welcome song from the Beijing Olympics.
Dancer // Buckeyethon
As a dancer for Buckeyethon, I was able to raise funds that directly went to Nationwide Children’s Hospital. I had the opportunity to meet and play with some of the kids, such as Kai Kai (pictured above). I enjoyed the whole experience and consider this one of the highlights of my time at OSU. When our fundraising total was revealed and all of the students sang Carmen Ohio, I felt such a strong sense of unity. I have never been prouder to be a Buckeye and hope to be a Morale Captain next year.

Since August 2015, I have written two articles for The Ohio State University newspaper. In high school, I was the yearbook editor and wrote for the newspaper. Writing is one of my favorite hobbies and I hope to continue contributing to the Lantern throughout my college career.
Marketing Team Name Tag // AIESEC’s RoKS
This is the name tag from my first regional conference with AIESEC. I was appointed to the marketing team and work to promote our organization’s cultural exchange program to students at Ohio State. I’m very excited to continue to help students find volunteer and internship opportunities abroad.
Camel Bone Necklace // Trip To China
In the Spring of 2014, I purchased this camel bone necklace in Guangzhou, China. I wear it everyday as a reminder of how much I love that country and the friends I made there. It brings back beautiful memories of interacting with elementary school students, Pearl River cruises, market explorations, and dances at the top of the Guangzhou Tower. The token is simple, yet so meaningful. While abroad on this trip, I decided officially that I would pursue a career in International Relations and Diplomacy.
