Conduct interview #1 with a potential user PRIOR to development

  1. What are some games you have played recently?
    • “I played Fortnite and Fall Guys recently.”
  2. What are some games you might enjoy playing on MATLAB?
    • “I might enjoy playing Connect 4.”
  3. In your opinion what is the optimal length a game should take to play?
    • “At least 5 minutes to truly enjoy the depth of the game.”
  4. What aspects of a game make it enjoyable to you to play?
    • “It has to be visually appealing and interesting.”

Condut interview #2 with a user after beta testing (must be different person than #1)

  1. What are some games you have played recently?
    • “Valorant, Fortnite, and League of Legends.”
  2. What are some games you might enjoy playing on MATLAB?
    • “Battleship, Frogger, Terraria.”
  3. In your opinion what is the optimal length a game should take to play?
    • “It depends on the game and on how competitive it is. More competitive games should be longer.”
  4. What aspects of a game make it enjoyable to you to play?
    • “Getting objectives, Winning, Penta Kills.”
  5. When playing this game, which aspects did you enjoy?
    • “I enjoyed the sounds and the suspense.”
  6. When playing this game, what changes would you recommend?
    • “Try to make it better by making the smart AI even smarter.”
