About Me

I am currently going into my senior year at The Ohio State University as an Animal Science major with the goal of attending veterinary school to become a swine veterinarian. At Ohio State, I have had opportunities to conduct my own research in swine nutrition, study abroad to New Zealand, become involved in numerous organizations, and form lasting friendships. I am still currently working in a swine nutrition research lab, and I also teach group fitness classes at the RPAC. I am also the president of Animal Science Community Alliance, an organization that seeks to recruit high school seniors into the Animal Science Department at Ohio State, as well as facilitates community within the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences. I also enjoy helping out with Best Food Forward, OSU’s bulk-food buying club in order to increase the community’s access to fresh produce.
Outside of academics and on-campus involvements, I enjoy running, traveling, reading, cooking, and spending time with my family, friends, and wonderful dog.
I am also very passionate about agriculture and food production. After earning my B.S in Agriculture with a major in Animal Biosciences, I would like to attend veterinary school and become a food animal veterinarian. My goal is to improve the efficiency and quality of animal agriculture products. By ensuring the health and well being of food animals as a veterinarian, I hope to help combat issues such as food safety and security.
