The beautiful night scene of my hometown
My name is Zhong Yuan, from Tongling, Anhui Province. Tongling is a small city located in the southeast of China, which is within about three hours of China’s largest city Shanghai by high-speed rail. My hometown scenery is picturesque, there are a lot of rivers and lakes, as well as the mountains around. Nowadays, I live with my parents and grandparents. My grandparents moved to my community last year because they know I will study abroad, so they hope to spend more time accompanying me. During this period, I often organize the whole family to travel, and it is also my hobby because I like the feeling of the unknown and the time spent with my family.
The life before transferring to OSU
Actually, I am a transfer student at OSU, and my former university was called Tianjin University of Commerce. I have been studying in Tianjin for about two years, which is a big city for me. I have tried many new things that are strange to me. The most impressive for me is the food in Tianjin, I probably ate more delicious food in Tianjin in two years than I did in my hometown in 18 years. As the result, my weight increased to 154 pounds, which started off at 120 pounds. This is an unforgettable experience for me because I have never weighed more than 120 pounds in 18 years.

My plan at OSU
I chose to study at OSU, due to the fact that I plan to change my major from financial management to economics and it is so lucky for me I got admitted to the OSU. I am willing to study economics, which comes from my curiosity about some economic phenomena in daily life. Therefore, I hope to study at OSU to explore these theories and use them to illustrate these situations. At the same time, increasing interpersonal communication skills is also my purpose, and I hope to make more friends from different backgrounds. It is useful to my work especially when I need to contact clients or leaders in the future.

Hi, Zhongyuan! I just came back from Tianjin a few weeks ago! I have to say I love everything there because it makes me feel relax. Especially Haihe and Wudadao. When I walked on the street, I feel cozy and enjoy this moment. I have not been to Anhui, hope I can get a chance to visit there. I have read your personal profile, I do not travel to your hometown before, I wish I have chance taking trip to there. I think it is a beautiful city through your image. Your studying career is different from lots of students, maybe your can help me about the studying of the first-year of university.
