Artifacts

For my artifact I have chosen my Ohio State football jersey. Coming into Ohio State as an out of state student was kind of intimidating. Seemingly everyone you meet here is from Ohio. However, to my comfort, I was immediately welcomed into the Buckeye family. This jersey signifies that to me because when I was here on my 2nd visit, I decided that I wanted to put down my deposit and enroll the next fall. So after making that decision I went down to the campus bookstore and bought the jersey. The atmosphere I experienced at all of the football games is truly indescribable. It was about more than just football; at the end of my first game when we all sang Carmen Ohio together, it was when I really fell in love with the school and started to realize I couldn’t imagine going to school anywhere else.

About Me

Hi I’m, Cooper Tanenhaus, a first year student here at The Ohio State University. I came all the way to Columbus from Roslyn Heights, New York, which is about an hour outside of New York City. I am currently pursuing a BSBA degree in Management with a Finance Specialization. In the future I also hope to add a minor in Real Estate. My main involvement is being a member of the Business Scholars. In the future, I hope to study abroad for a semester, or during the summer. I visited France a few years ago, and ever since, I have been itching to explore more of Europe.
