Carmen Connect is very helpful when taking an online course. It can be hard or intimidating to get in touch with professors or classmates via email or phone. Carmen connect helps students get connected in a chat room to discuss coursework or any questions one may have.

A big component to online learning is writing assignments. In all of my online courses I have taken, I have had many assignments in which I would have to write a paper of some sort. Since online courses are not in person, one may not be able to meet with a professor to go over the paper written. This writing center is helpful in getting workshops or help in an online chat room or session with assignments.
