About

I am a student from the Chicago suburbs focused on pursuing a career in Product Development through the Fashion & Retail Studies major program at the Ohio State University. I am also a member of the honors college and minor in the Fisher College of Business. I work part-time while in school as a University Ambassador and serve as the Director of Design for Ohio State’s Fashion Production Association, both of which have helped me realize how much I love working with others and strategizing about branding outcomes. I am currently part of a ten-week internship program with Kohl’s Department Stores at their New York Design Office, where I work in Product Management on the Nine West apparel team.

I love corporate retail because I thrive in fast-paced, team-oriented environments. I am extroverted and enjoy collaborating with others on project-based work. My experience includes design management, start-up retail marketing, and mass market product management. Through my current position, I hope to improve my ability to be take criticism constructively rather than personally and better apply it to my future projects. I plan to discuss my midpoint and final intern review sheets with my current employer to make sure I am actively working towards improving my skill set.

My passion lies in combining the creative aspects of the fashion industry with strategic business in a way that is impactful. My short-term goals include obtaining a position in product development or product management by the time I receive my undergraduate degree. My long term goals include advancing into brand management within ten years of working in industry. I am willing to relocate to find my best fit.
