My name is Alyssa Fix. I am a senior at Geneva HS in Geneva, Ohio. I want to major in Physics and then obtain my MD/PhD (PhD in Physics) and specialize in neurosurgery. I would appreciate any advice concerning potential PhD fields and/or research endeavors, as well as general advice about being a woman pursuing an advanced degree in a historically male dominated scientific field.
