About Me
Some call me Ethan, but those who know me well call me Swink. My full name is Ethan Thomas Swink, and I am a freshman in the Fisher College of Business studying Finance. As a member of the Honors program, I hope to utilize all the opportunities to prepare myself for the professional world. Aside from dedicating myself to class work, I plan on getting involved in Fisher Cares, the Undergraduate Finance Association, as well as intramurals. Balancing various activities and interests is of paramount importance to me, and should better prepare me for life in the corporate world.
My interests range from economics, to electronic dance music, and to politics—with all topics relating back to the business world. Having a diverse set of interests and encountering others with differing interests or opinions is something I embrace. While I am currently a Finance major, I am open to the possibility of change and have considered double majoring in Accounting. Becoming a certified fraud examiner and exploring forensic accounting intrigues me. Overall, I wish to obtain the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the business world, not just for myself, but to benefits others through whatever work I may do.
