Hey, Ohio State students! Stop by Plant Drop 2019, set to start at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 25, and you can get a free plant while they last.
Plant of the year, easy to grow
Specifically, you can get a Proven Winner Lemon Coral sedum, the 2019 annual plant of the year. It’s billed as “incredibly easy to grow,” and, according to its description, “plays nicely with others in containers and landscapes without being a bully and won’t wilt if you forget to water for a few days.”
Come to the turnaround in front of Howlett Hall, 2001 Fyffe Court, on Ohio State’s Columbus campus.
CFAES’ Chadwick Arboretum & Learning Gardens and the Collegiate Plant Initiative are organizing the event, with the Proven Winners plant brand arranging the donation and Michigan-based Four Star Greenhouse, a co-owner of Proven Winners, growing and delivering the plants.
