How to boost bicycle commuting

“Let’s make biking work!” It’s a worthwhile goal for traffic, environmental and health reasons, and it’s the title of the Thursday, Nov. 15, breakfast program by the Environmental Professionals Network (EPN).

A vision for central Ohio

The speakers at the event, according to its website, will “explore the regional (central Ohio) vision and strategic efforts underway to improve bicycle commuting and to link biking with a variety of urban transit options, including bus, greenway, pedestrian and other transportation systems.”

The event is from 7:15-9:30 a.m. in the Nationwide and Ohio Farm Bureau 4-H Center on Ohio State’s Columbus campus. Registration is $10, or free for Ohio State students.
