The Environmental Professionals Network, a service of CFAES’s School of Environment and Natural Resources, is presenting a special evening with M. Sanjayan, host of the PBS series “Earth: A New Wild,” on Feb. 11 in Columbus. That’s about four months away still. But tickets are going fast. David Hanselmann, a lecturer in the school and the coordinator of the network, said this week that about half the event’s 1,500 free tickets had already been spoken for. So act soon if you’re interested. Get details and a link to register here. Sanjayan, who’s a senior scientist with Conservation International, will speak on “Earth and People: Lessons in Living Together — Preserving Our Present, Enriching Our Future.” Watch episodes of “Earth: A New Wild” in Ohio State’s now-underway Environmental Film Series.
