“I was adopted by my American parents at the age of two. Technically, I’m from South Korea but I like to consider that I have no connection from there. My biological parents, left me at the adoption centre and I dont know the reason why. I do not know how they look like or their names. I have my other brothers and sisters who were also adopted from South Korea; my parents are truly amazing people with a lot of compassion.

My childhood was pretty much the same like all others, but my sister faced a lot of bullying at school because of her foreign face. I was lucky enough to be in a big school and have a nice group of friends.”
