About Me

I am a first-year student at The Ohio State University, with a double major in Political Science and Women’s, Gender, & Sexuality studies. I am here because love knowledge, whether it originates from a book, conversation, or my own investigation, all of which I intend to pursue at OSU. My focus as an undergraduate is to find ways to give back to the city of Columbus through the opportunities for service and research.

In high school, I excelled academically, attaining honor roll status each semester. I won numerous awards for citizenship, student body leadership, and academic abilities. I was a member of the National Honor Society, where I worked with my fellow members most notably to put together our school’s annual Chinese Auction for charity. I also spent some time with various school groups and teams, including the cheerleading team, the dance team, the track team, the band, and the drama club. Through these activities, I cultivated an appreciation for the intricacies of teamwork and conflict resolution.

So far this year I have learned to establish interpersonal connections within my residence community. I enjoy the availability and variety of events and organizations on campus, and I am confident that I will be able to create my niche and make my own contribution.
