About Me

My name is Alex Stewart and I am from Brecksville, Ohio, a city near Cleveland. I am a first year student at The Ohio State University and am excited to be a Buckeye. I am a part of the Green Engineering Scholars program and am planning to major in Mechanical Engineering. My father is an electrical engineer and he inspired me to pursue a career in the engineering field. I plan to be active on campus including going to football games, joining intramural sports, and attending the various events that are held on campus. I enjoy sports and am an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns, Cavaliers, and Indians. I enjoy working out as well as playing pick up games of just about any sport. Music is an important part of my life as well. I used to play electric and bass guitar and I plan on attending multiple concerts in and around campus. I feel that I have found a good balance between my social life as well as my academic life which will help keep me on track at the college pace of courses. I consider myself to be hard working and self-driven which will help me be successful in college as well in life. I have high expectations for myself and plan on surrounding myself with positive people who are supportive of me and will help me reach my fullest potential.
