3rd Annual Meeting Diversity in STEMM at Ohio State – 2019

Ohio State faculty and staff committed to diversifying the STEMM talent pool will convene in April 2019 to learn about the initiatives that are already in place on our campus, brainstorm how we can interact more effectively, and have an opportunity to network within this community.

The ultimate goal was to synergize to make our programs more diverse at all levels.

Diverse Faculty and Scholars Recruitment Collaborative–Recently, several campus partners and academic leaders came together to establish a plan for diversifying the University’s faculty ranks by partnering with the Southern Region Education Board (SREB). This partnership includes, but is not limited to, connecting University campus leaders to the multidisciplinary and diverse SREB community of scholars, who attend the annual Institute on Teaching and Mentoring, the largest gathering of minority Ph.D.scholars in the country.
