What is the WestFest Event Passport?
- The event passport is our way of encouraging WestFest participants to stop by as many booths as possible during in-person event. Printed passports will be available at the information booth during WestFest. Attendees get stamps on their passports by completing activities at different booths. Completed passports can be turned in at the information booth for a WestFest prize.
What is the take-home activity kit?
- Thanks to generous grant funding we are building 500 take-home activity kits to correspond with this year’s virtual WestFest programs. Each kit will contain the supplies necessary to complete five different STEM activities. The kits are provided to the community free-of-charge and will be distributed in through select community partners and at the event (quantities are limited). Distribution locations are not yet set, but our plan is to focus on getting supplies into underserved neighborhoods. More information about the activity kits will be available on our website in the coming weeks.
