Aspire camp ( Jun 5th – Jun 9th )

This was the first run of the Aspire camp for the summer of 2017 and it was also the first time STEMcoding participated with the Aspire camp. To sum it up, it was a glowing success. The students love the programming exercises and for most of the students it was there first time programming.

The students had limited time to program however this did not hinder their progress. Only having about three hours to finish as much of the exercises as possible, the students were able to finish three of the beginning exercises. This may not sound amazing however it is quite remarkable once you considered that the students learned fundamental physics lessons while gaining programming experiences. Then add in how much fun the students had while creating games based on the exercises and now you can began to appreciate the value of STEMcoding.
