Rogue Fitness buys the e.t.d. 150 steel bars from the Niagara LaSalle Corporation to use as the steel in the majority of their barbells. Rogue Fitness manufactures all of their own bars and equipment right here in the United States. The following two videos provide everything one would need to know about the manufacturing process of the barbells as well as the specifications of these barbells:
In summary, the Rogue barbells are manufactured, start to finish, within Rogue Fitness factories. The second video is talking about a specific bar that the company makes, however, it is the same general process for all of their bars, differing only in certain specification details. The bars begin as ground and polished steel bars, are knurled and cut for specific attachments later in the process, are plated with chemical coats to protect from oxidation over time, and finally fitted with collars for holding weightlifting plates.
Rogue Fitness is a fairly new company, and its successful uprise in this state of Ohio had economical impacts. The company’s growth forced the purchase of various factories and warehouses in the United States to manufacture and store their products. These factories and warehouses provided jobs and therefore economical output. The continued success of the company resulted in expansion of distribution globally to Kuwait, Europe, Australia, Mexico, Hawaii, and Brazil, (Rogue Fitness, 2015).
