Teachers from Franklin County (Ohio) public schools will be offered a $600 credit towards program fees, bringing their program price down to $2250. If you are unsure about your eligibility for this discount, please contact

Full-time community college and MSI/HBCU faculty are eligible to apply for Professional Development Grants to offset costs of the SSAST program. Please contact CLAS Assistant Director Leila Vieira at for more information.

Medical Insurance

All students participating on OSU study abroad programs will receive supplementary medical insurance through GeoBlue or a comparable carrier at no extra charge. Students are required to maintain their regular insurance coverage while participating in the program as well. The provider and terms of the health insurance for education abroad are subject to change.

Excursions and Special Events

Such activities take place regularly and are included in the price of the program. Click on the Itinerary tab above for more specific information about planned activities.
