Hi! My name is Alex Sprague from Hamilton, Ohio. I am majoring in Neuroscience in the pre-med track and I am minoring in music. All my life I have enjoyed trying new things and seeking out new experiences, which has evolved into me being involved with a wide variety of extracurricular activities in college, ranging from playing for the Ohio State Quidditch team and being 4 Paws service dog sitter, to singing in the Sound of Science acapella group and participating in the Mirrors sophomore class honorary. Additionally, on the pre-med focused side, I am a Neuroscience ambassador, a volunteer at the James Cancer Hospital, and a Pelotonia Fellow working in the Kaur Neuro-oncology lab. After I graduate from Ohio State, I want to attend medical school and become a pediatric oncologist specializing in brain tumors. This ePortfolio will be used to track my activities and accomplishments, as well as reflect upon my journey to becoming a doctor and why I want to pursue the field of medicine.
