About Me

Hello,

I’m Gary, a freshman at The Ohio State University. Being raised in Aurora, Ohio, about thirty minutes southeast of Cleveland, coming to Columbus marked my change to a truly urban environment. I graduated from Aurora High School in 2016 with an Honors Diploma, a 3.86 GPA, and a 34 ACT score. I’m a FisherDirect student and I am apart of the Mount Leadership Society Scholars program. My major is Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with a Specialization in Finance. At Ohio State and the Fisher College of Business, I hope to immerse myself hands-on in the business world, and I hope to develop professionally so that I can make an impact in the job market. I am currently exploring the different clubs and options to help me achieve these goals.

One thing I have learned throughout the years is that I am an achiever. I have a drive for success, and I strive to achieve my goals. For example, working as a lifeguard for two summers, I would often put in 65+ hour work weeks. Another example would be spending countless hours at my desk on weekends with my head in an ACT practice workbook. I recognized my goal, and I put in the work so that I can get to where I wanted to be. This work-ethic will progress through my time at Ohio State.
