We’re particularly interested in finding someone to support studies of how the older adult microbiome relates to immune-related adverse events. This would be co-mentored with a med-onc faculty member, and support clinical observation manuscripts, microbiome-centric machine-learning-based prediction of clinical outcomes, and mouse models to define causality and establish mechanism.
Also, we’re considering expanding our efforts to understand how concomitant medications affect cancer treatment outcomes via the microbiome.
