Our purpose is to develop an AEV vehicle design that will fulfill the city of Columbus’s public transportation needs. In order to ensure maximum results, Dreese Data System’s division Q has dedicated its resources to striking a balance between maximizing the aerodynamic capabilities of the AEV design and reducing the overall weight of the vehicle. The goal is that by reducing the drag on the AEV, the energy consumption rate would be lowered while efficiency would increase, thus allowing for lower future maintenance costs as well. Combine high aerodynamic characteristics with a low vehicle weight and production costs should be considerably reduced, while it’s thrust more easily maximized.
