What’s with all the suits in the Union?

If you walked through the Union last week, you may have noticed hundreds of people walking around in suits. These students were attending the Fisher Career Fair. They prepared resumes, practiced elevator speeches and pressed their business suits in an effort to find an internship or job. Hopefully, at the end of the day, they each came away from the fair with something—whether it was an interview, a new contact or just the experience of networking.

Career fairs are a great way to grow your professional network and help you find an internship or job. But don’t worry if you missed last week’s career fair! The Union is hosting a few more throughout the semester; the next one is Wednesday, September 15.

9/15/2015 & 9/16/2015 The Ohio State University Career and Internship Fair
9/22/2015 & 9/23/15 Engineering Expo
11/5/2015 The Ohio State University Graduate and Professional School Fair

  1. Dress to impress
  2. Make a plan
  3. Prepare your portfolio
