Sat Kartar Khalsa is a Project Coordinator on a research project investigating sex trafficking in Columbus while on a one-year a sabbatical from Medical School. She has already completed two years of her medical education at The Ohio State University, College of Medicine. Before pursuing her Medical Doctorate, Sat Kartar attended UCLA where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Science in 2016. During her time at UCLA, she worked in a lab studying addiction and recovery, with a focus on gambling addiction. She aspires to specialize in Emergency Medicine to provide healthcare to underserved and uninsured communities in the future.
