A football sugar cookie and a buckeye cupcake represent more to me than just a tasty treat. As a member of UBWA on their BuckeyeThon committee, I participated in the planning and execution of a bake sale at the Penn State vs. OSU 2017 football game. We spent a week baking these goodies and walked around to tailgates before the game to sell them. It is significant to me because it represents the first big fundraising event that I was a part of at OSU. We raised over $1,000 for BuckeyeThon! I feel a great sense of accomplishment and Buckeye pride when reflecting on this experience.
