I was promoted on the 1st of December into a “Sergeant” position! My new unit is in Twinsburg, OH. I am in charge of two soldiers and the promotion comes with many new responsibilities! Not only am I in charge of multiple soldiers, I’m expected to go to different schools to learn new things (Next stop: Camp Parks, CA!) and set a better example. It’s been a great experience so far!

Artifacts

About Me
My name is Emily Snyder. I’m a second-year student here at Ohio State and a pre-nursing student on a five-year degree plan. I hope to one day be a nurse in the United States Army! In the meantime, I am an ROTC cadet and a Sergeant in the Army Reserve. Although I work a lot and prefer to study independently, I joined the Scholars program to make friends with similar interests to me and as a way to better myself as a scholar and leader. So far, I have enjoyed the opportunities provided to me!
