Club Leadership Transitions
With the end of the spring semester right around the corner, it is time to start holding officer elections and transitioning club leadership. Use the linked Leadership Transition Guide to make sure you have everything covered. Remember, it is critical to make sure you have transitioned bank account access to your new leadership before the end of the spring semester. If bank accounts are not properly transferred, your club may not be eligible for college funding or for registration with the university. If you have questions, contact Jen Bennett at bennett.1075@osu.edu.

Searching for a Job? Use Handshake!
This spring, we will retire our practice opportunities network website and move all optometry job postings to the university’s job posting system called Handshake. Handshake also includes postings for part-time or summer jobs, which can be especially helpful for identifying opportunities in the summer between first and second year. Learn more about Handshake and view the recorded training session on your class Carmen page – look in the “Prepare for Your Job Search, Residency Match, or Other Post-Graduation Plans” section, then choose “Optometry Job Posting Boards.”
